1.If the house if strong and will not be affected by tsunami or flood, stay at home. 2.During electricity cut, keep candles away from flammable objects to prevent fire. 3.Never go to the seashore for wave watching, playing, picking stones or fishing to prevent accidents. 4.If you live on hills or areas vulnerable of debris flow, leave the area immediately. (If you have no relatives or friends to live with, you can go and stay at emergency shelter) 5.Even if it already seems clear outside, do not leave you home unless you have confirmed that the typhoon is not coming back. It is possible that your area is just experiencing the eye of the typhoon. When the eye of typhoon passes, there are no rains or strong winds. 6.If you must drive during a typhoon, drive slowly and safely. 7.Assess if the doors and windows are tightly closed, close all unnecessary doors and windows, put on wooden boards if required.
